Willie Tonga to Dragons

Willie Tonga has signed a 2year deal with the Catalans Dragons which will see him finish his rugby league career in the ESL...he has been in fine form in 2014 for the Eels but I believe this to be yet another player being let go to ease salary cap pressure!  this will probably allow Parra to negotiate a good deal extension for Jarryd Hayne to stay beyond 2015, plus there's the likes of Chris Sandow, Darcy Lussick & Will Hopoate all with expired contracts next season,& I'd like to see them all be retained,& possibly a real crack at Izzy Folau for 2016...the Eels seem to be  tying up a lot of their younger talent recently which is great news (to put the poaching rival clubs at bay) & any spare money$ now is vital...I think we'll be alright without the services of Tonga next season as we still have the very keen Ryan Morgan to fill in permanently ( I think his contract may be up in 2015 also) if we can just get Haynesy to sign a life deal for us & BA to stick around for years to come then the future at Parramatta actually looks bright for a change! best of luck to Tonga in the English Super League, he had a rotten run of luck with injuries but has bounced back into superb form this season which even saw him  be included in a Queensland team squad for game2...P.S. Willie: congrats on your captaincy selection for this weekend's crunch game against the Warriors-another 2014 accolade...

I'm wondering if we are forgetting the 27th person on the field, the referee. I'm watching a different game this year, where it feels referees are playing a huge part in the games. I can't get over the feeling…"
