“Will Penisini - Cronulla Sharks
Will Penisini is yet to ink a new deal with Parramatta for the 2027 season and beyond, but a centre of his stature and potential will no doubtedly remain in the NRL if the Eels do not secure his services.
Still only 24-years-old, the Tongan international would fit right into the backline of Cronulla Sharks after the departure of long-tenured centre Jess Ramien.
With Michael Gabrael not yet experienced at first grade level with just one game under his belt, Penisini could potentially slot right into the vacant spot whilst Gabrael continues to develop.”

Pretty sure he is contracted until 2028.
That's what we've all been lead to believe... the club never actually made it official with an announcement though.? Might explain all the centres we seem to be targeting at the moment. Or the work experience kid at zero tackle has gone rogue without the proper research
Will wasn't on the departing players list he is contracted for atleast 2027.
Good point
Source is zero tackle, enough said.
Those dopes have zero idea
This is so confusing. He inked a new deal , it was announced . Yet everyone keeps talking about him being off contract. Maybe he has one of MONs infamous escape clauses ?
It was announced by journalists in sept 2025. The club never actually came out with the old pen in hand sitting at a desk in front of the logo, contract in front, set up smile photo opportunity?? Seems odd
The club did announce it in 2025 - they said it was for the 2026 season. He only extended for 1 year.

Centre Will Penisini, one of the Club’s most consistent performers, has also re-committed to the Blue & Gold until the end of 2026.
