Why weren't they penalised for taking out Tahu?

I'm absolutely shattered and devastated. Shayne Hayne, I've lost all my respect for you. Tahu was taken out and you know it. You've ruined the lives of so many people today.

  • i know,we would of won seriously but now i hate shayne hayne
  • Forget it, he wouldn't have scored anyway
  • It doesn't matter whether he would have scored or not. The fact is that in any other situation with those circumstances, there would be a penalty. You can't defy precedent. We would have had at least a penalty goal to take it to golden point.
  • I'm feeling so depressed... It hurts so much.
  • me too! but im going to support parra to the end just for caylo
  • Hayne penalised us out of the match. YES, I know we won the penalty count, but it was when they were given that hrt us.
  • should have been a penalty no doubt.
  • The funny thing is we heard it all year that the refs would end up losing an important game for some team when it matters most. Oh fuk I seriously didn't think they would make us lose the game. I just saw Haynes blunder in the last minute. Fuk I am so shattered.
  • It summed our day to be honest.
That was one of a many calls that went against us today, but there's not much we can do about it.
The call that actually peeved me off the most though was their first try in which the pass that started the whole movement was forward.
    Ah well.
I'll still support the Eels and be there for the games regardless.

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "
