This post is directed at mainly the 2 most negative miserable dopes Supermaneels & Frankie Fong. Every time the Eels do something positive in a game they make some sort of negative excuse, but when another teams does it they rip into the Eels again because “we don’t play like that”
Take this post I seen on social media this morning for example.
“Ok so Raiders came from 18-0 down at half time to beat the Storm. But dont get me wrong was a really good effort. But we were 16-0 down to the Raiders and came back and won and media just say how bad the Raiders were? Blows my mind sometimes“
Nails it on the head, if the Eels come from behind to beat a good team there’s going to be every excuse under the sun used, but when other teams do it it’s made to look like the best thing since sliced bread.

There are "players" on this site who would rather the eels go backwards to help their cause, and they'll use any means on this site to rubish and use derogatory language towards anything & anyone that is positive.

No one in the media is really giving us a chance... and it could be a good thing. When we beat the Knights the other week, all the media attention was around how ‘The Knights lost the game’ rather than acknowledging the Eels winning run...
I think this is a blessing in disguise personally that’s allowing us to fly under the radar.
I wouldn’t expect the media to take our finals run seriously till we beat someone in the top 8.

Alot of the media are pretty slow on the uptake and still can't come to grips with our massive improvement, particularly over the last couple of months. They won;t really notice until we win a semi final match.
I agree with Clintorian - it's best to be ignored and go about things quietly - they will cotton on soon enough.
Alot of it's perception too - as a Parra fan you always notice critics of the Eels and take issue with it more than any other club and it sticks in your mind. For example, when Paul Kent lays into the Eels I hate him with a passion, but when he has a crack at Cleary and the Panthers I think it's hilarious .
