Why did we re-sign Tonga?

A few people have asked this question in passing but it probably bears taking a closer look/ guess at. RS said at the time Tonga had dedicated himself to rehab. That does not seem a valid reason. I presume he must have got a positive long-term medical report. (That did not look so good when he went out injured after a couple of games).  I can see a fit Tonga would still have something to offer.

  • Bernie, it was a shocking ,desperate signing, that defines this club, just a basketcase.

  • See how he goes with a few better players around him next year
  • Gotta re-sign somebody.

  • Do you think our half-time entertainment might be Tonga doing rehab?

  • How many games has he played since he signed from NQ?
  • His departing gift

  • I thought Tonga only played the one game then as soon as he re-signed he was injured again....how is that a positive long-term medical report? His re-signing doesn't surprise me know its obvious Stuart wants the Eels to fail.

  • I asked the same question, just another "head scratching" dumb fuck decision, and the club wonders why we are in the situation where in!

    UNBELIEVABLE!
    • I fully agree Ed, u have pretty well summed up my thoughts on Willie Wonka.
