Why did we get rid of Mateo & Inu?

Thats why., I think DA and management have proven there point.

No doubt  they are very skilled. But we cant afford to defend as much and to give up so much field position for players making stupid decisions and mistakes the way they both did 2nite. And im not saying a few others in the team didnt as well. But the less we have in the team next year, the better.

We can sit back, & be critical about the backs & our attack. But really we dont have a chance if we cant dominate field position, and complete repeat sets. Its the most basic thing, and i have no doubt we can beat any team if we had discipline in our side.

Thank god they are going.

  • I agree. Im pissed that we have failed to attract any quality replacements but seeing both of them leave is a positive for me. They just dont seem to have the passion or enthusiasm week in, week out like we need them to.

Bet they kill it in NZ but if we kept them, they're games wouldn't change next season.
  • When Mateo learns that there is a time and a place to pass the ball, then I will gladly accept him back at the Eels.
Unfortunately, the likelihood of him realising such a thing is very slim.
  • FFS he got hooked last year against the dogs in the prelim final wid that stupid pass. Says it all !
