Well they should know that by now, as we all do. Remember, this dope signed Matterson. Most probably he will wait until only the reserve grade quality bargains are left ... his team's motto may as well be "We will buy cheap and develop them. Yeah i think it could be time for a change at GM of footy but he has had some decent hits in the market. Not excusing him for not getting a host of deals done and had a share of misses, particularly in 2023 where he thought since BA was able to make Papali'i into a star he can do the same with 4-5 high potential players that have done nothing with Hopgood, Doorey, Murchie, Momoisea etc. Only Hopgood worked out.

Again, doesn't excuse his bad signings and how he dealt with re-signing talent. Also, there is a pattern of picking up those that need a second chance instead of big names.

You can do better, and Mon getting and retaining Matterson has to rate up there as one of the great "hindsight" comments......God help him if Matterson actually turned into one of our best......or worse in another side that does better than Parra.
