Which team do you fear in the semis and why ?

I think its clear to say the current top 4 sides ,

1	Manly	32
2	South Sydney		28
3	Penrith		28
4	Sydney Roosters		26
5	Canterbury-Bankstown		26
6	Melbourne		26
7	North Queensland		24
8	Warriors		24
9	Parramatta		24

Broncos, dragons and tigers on 22 are unlikely to make it now .

I think the roosters and souths are the danger sides , both showing decent form and building at the right time . I think these sides are unpredictable . I feel with Manly and the dogs you know its an 80minute grind . The roosters and souths can very quickly pile on 30 points then tend to just defend the lead . I think our defence will improve greatly from now till the semis . I think the danger is with roosters and souths because you just cant see what game plan they will bring. Storm I suspect will drop out , The cowboys still have tamou to return and seem to be going better,the only thing that hurts them is the away games in Sydney and this would be the only reason they don't make it , however they are dirty they missed out the last 2 seasons and will kick into gear. The Warriors are in brilliant form , they destroyed us and a few other sides recently and will make the top 8 guaranteed . They have a poor history in the semis and I think the same will happen again once they make the semis.

I think the top 9 now is it , no other sides will make the top 8 . Our FORTUNE is that these sides play each other and teams have to lose . As long as we win 4 games we will make it for sure . I even think 3 games will be enough to squeeze into 8th spot .

A big cheer out to Hayne this week who can get his 100th try vs RS should he get a double .

I still say put the cash on Hayne to get 3 Tries and a Semi double .

Cowboys and warriors do have easy games this weekend.. We should beat Canberra though. But then we have two hard games in dogs and manly. For us to make the finals we got to beat either dogs or manly
Then beat knights and raiders.
I think our for and against will stop us making the finals

Penrith have very hard run home, play 4 top teams in 5 games, so if lose those 4 will end up on 30 points. This means we have to win probably 4 out of 5 as don't think our F & A will be enough to go thru to finals.

1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd, 5th vs 8th and 6th vs 7th. That's what happens the first week of the finals.

Manly will get the minor premiership so they are the biggest threat to all teams. If we win all our remaining games I wonder where we would finish up on the ladder. Is a top 4 spot still possible for us ?
