"Yea he is mainly a 5/8, If Lorenzo for some reason fails, Risati is the next option. He is a bigger body than Lorenzo with a great running and passing game. He turns 18 next year so will be in SG Ball alongside Fletcher.

"EA, do you have any thoughts on Risati? Heard big raps on him. The way people talk about him, he could be a long-term six solution, alongside Fletcher at seven. Who knows. We're talking years down the track, but just curious."

Mate I drive past it everyday into the office at Parra.
The new car park behind the Leagues club is now up to the 2nd story and going well.
The old stadium and pool are completely demolished and they are currently drilling and pouring piers for the New Stadium footings. Stadiums aren't complex to build once the structure is up, the fit out takes 2 parts of bugger all compared to multi story high rises.
It's good to know that once the main structure is up, then it's easy breezy from there.
And it's also good to hear that our new multi level leagues club car park is coming along nicely too.
Thanks again JJ.
Basically a year and a half left to have it all ready to kick-off the 2019 season. Look how fast this season has come and gone with just 6 weeks left till the Premiership decider.
I'd be really disappointed if there isn't any noticeable progress.
And for gods sake, increase the capacity to 38,500 if they're not allowed build for 40k.
Hopefully there has been some noticeable progress and everything's going to plan and we can all breath easy.
If anyone lives nearby, or is just visiting Parra Leagues Club, I would really appreciate it if you took a few pictures showing us all the progress of our new fortress so far.
It would be like going back in time and playing in the old "dust bowl" and seeing our players doing a few of the old "Cumberland throws" hahaha.
At least the ref's and the bunker wouldn't be able to watch a replay to see if we did anything illegal in the tackle because there'd be NO BIG SCREEN TV for them to look at hahaha. And no power points for the multiple monitors in the bunker because it would literally be a real dug out bunker in the dirt.
Who needs grass on the field? Who needs a stadium with stairs, bays, and rows of seats?
It would give the term "Standing room only" a new meaning ;)
The Panasonic Cup midweek nighttime competition, The Club Championship which back then, included your ladder points from all 3 grades - Under 21's, Reserve grade, and First grade.
And of course,we won the big one - The "Winfield Cup Premiership". But obviously, we don't want a repeat of what the next 30 years of what our previous stadium brought us.
There were some memorable moments though;
Parramatta defeating the touring Great Britain B team and Lee Odenryan beating Martin "Charriots of fire" Offiah in a 100 metre foot race a short while before kickoff to that match.
Hosting City vs Country, the World 7's tournament, a Jeff Fenech fight, or was it Kosya Tzu? The "King of pop" Michael Jackson concert, and some really big NRL wins including a 74-4 flogging of the Cronulla Sharks, a 60 point smashing of the Broncos in 2001 (I think)? And many more big wins in big games including some Home semi final matches.
The record books still show that Parramatta are the highest point scorers in a season when they won the Minor Premiership (2001) and conceded the least amount of points in the same season than any other club in the history of the NRL.
Those records may never be broken unless there were some major rule changes or if a team got really lucky during a season and was able to run up some big scores against injury ridden teams and teams that are coming off a short turnaround etc.
Demolition only started in February. As JJ says, they are currently laying foundations, and I expect we will see some more progress over the next few months.
You can keep up to date here: http://www.infrastructure.nsw.gov.au/projects-nsw/western-sydney-st..., but there is not a lot of recent info on there. They should set up a website to update the community like they did with the M2.
The plan was always late 2019, probably round 18.
