When Too Much SOO Is Barely Enough?!

News out this morning is East winger, and Ex Eel, D Tupou is out for six weeks injured in SOO3 -a useless non -event of a game that should not have been held. He joins, Jennings who is out for a further three weeks after being injured in SOO2. ( He has injured his latissimus dorsi the same injury that has laid Tupou low!) Also revealed is that Easts second rower A Guerra did not train Tuesday after being rested by East`s coach T Robinson. This is a virtual week after that phoney game,  SOO3. Guerra should toughen up and eat concrete, show some grit etc, blah, blah, blah . JH stood from a game -not training--a couple of days after SOO3. This has happened in one club! Ask East`s if SOO is damaging Rugby League?

  • Have you finished this one man crusade? It's Origin, injuries are part and parcel of the game. Suck it up and get on with it. It's an injury that could've been done at club level, hell it's an injury you could do in the gym. The NRL has more pressing issues to deal with than a trivial issue such as a supposed "dead rubber".

  • Whilst taking your point Robert the NRL are NEVER going to get rid of SOO3.

Super's right, the NRL have more pressing issues. The Sherlocks amongst them have busted wide open scandalous betting issues where players are placing $10 and $20 bets on their team to win.

    • Not to mention people pissing into their own mouths
  • and to top it off they now have the bldy kiwis playing to win a scrum!?!

  • FFS someone put him down already.
