There has been rumours for weeks now about new signings and it looks as though most of them rumours have been bogus....... does any1 have anything info on player recruitment that will not fizzle out with in a few weeks... with the jury out on morts we have to be looking at a half to teach him to guide the team around the park, are those rumours still to be sitting with orford and kimmorley..??
Read an article on tuaki today that sounds promising, but why wouldnt they try and tie up groth and give him a chance to rip in, i think groth has still got good footy in him...... it would be hard to pick 2 wingers from Burt, grothe, tuaki and loko if he gets a chance...
is mason still rumoured/orford
how are we gonna fill the void of matteo and keating??

I hionestly thought they were going to sign Cooper Cronk last Wednesday. The deal was “over the line” and was worth much more than Cronk’s on in Melbourne. But Storm got legal advice and refused to grant him a release. Sorry, I honestly thought it was almost a done deal.

Isn't it funny that the whole Inglis out of Melbourne saga has been so massive in the papers, yet Cronk to Parra even though there have been loud murmurs hasn't become public to such a degree.
It is obvious now that Cronk does in fact want out of the Storm, either purely because we are offering him a fair bit more coin or/and he is pissed about the whole state of the club and how he is being treated.
I still havn't given up on Cronk purely because the drawn out length of the Inglis situation and that Cronk was also of said to have visited Canberra facilities during the week as well. He wouldn't continue to do so unless he believed he was a chance of getting out of his contract.
