The whole Manly 17 were much stronger, faster and fitter individually than what we were.
Someone like Lloyd Perret who could hardly get a start last year at the Dogs looked like a seasoned international compared to our forwards.
This comes to question of the pre season training program . We also only had one trial match.

They ran Millperra hills great fitness in between the runs they and ba were reading how great they are just turn up and win attitude believe in there own hype
Agree, we are a small pack, we need to be 80 minute fit, we are unfit, slow and because of that we get penalized constantly for off side ball raking.
Realy what did BA do pre season, his head coach and this is who he has presented this team. Sack him now and grab Kev Walters or Madge.

Brad Arthur is way out of his depth in my opinion! The Eels need a good experienced tactical coach whose not afraid to deal with the dead wood players and bring in some young players. A coach with a hard head but brains and a no nonsense approach! Anyone in mind?
