Well hopefully they will apply some common sense and appoint Peter Serrao. Peter Serrao has proven experience with all things related to Junior Football plus he is well liked and respected. Appointing Peter would also end the rubbish associated with the special qualification of having 3 Football Club directors sit on the LC Board. I won't hold my breath though!

smartest thing i have read from you patsy.
Sharp needs all the help he can get and he certainly wont get it from issa.
"ERIC Grothe Jnr must relinquish his role as a board member on the Parramatta District Rugby League board before his comeback to the game in 2014 is rubber-stamped by the NRL.
The former Eels and representative winger, 33, announced yesterday he had signed a deal with the Cronulla Sharks, but that contract is being held up by red tape as Grothe moves to exit his role on the board.
Grothe, who has been out of the game for three years, has commenced training with the Sharks and the deal with Cronulla is expected to be signed within the next 24 hours.
Under the NRL guidelines no registered NRL player can be aligned with a club's board. That would have been the case even if he had signed with the Eels again."

Not sure but don't think it will have any real effect on things overall.
The Leagues Club Board (NRL team) still has the 1 vacancy and I think that needs to be filled by someone from the Football club Board.
Separately, the Football Club Board (juniors) will now have 2 vacancies - Spag and EGJ.
