Players know the rules you must be behind the play-maker to take the pass and also when you are competing for a bomb.   Thats simple enough, but players at times knowingly don't comply. They continue to get excited and don't realise when they're too flat or worse. Hope they realise flat balls are easier to drop.
Is it too much to expect the coaching staff to urgently drill the team till they are always behind the ball-carrier.
