Whilst it isn't a terrible draw I don't think it is as easy as people think. The eels play 13 games against top 8 teams from this year, no other club plays more, we have tough away games in the first 4 rounds against the storm and manly plus a home game against arch rivals the dogs who are on the cusp of signing ben hunt. We also have a tough run at the back end of the season.
Lot of talk about Eels playing 13 games against top 8 teams of this year. Let's be honest, of the top 8 teams of this year, Panthers/Storm/Roosters were miles ahead. The other 5 were average at best (lucky even) and the Roosters will be interesting given how many players have left or still injured for a good half of the season.
"Moses would of done SFA more than who was out there last night, the facts are that the rain played against NSW and helped Qld and then we had the 8 -0 penalty count in the first half which in last night's conditions would of been like 16 -0 in…"

The first month is tough. Having back to back home games only twice is tough also.
