At least we showed some heart as a team today. I know I sound defeatist but after the past 2 shellackings I'll take any improvement. With Moses in the team I think we would have won. That's not something I was able to say the last 2 games. Lomax was a legend. We just lacked creativity and smarts.
Don't get me wrong, at the moment, we are still spoon contenders but I was semi happier today.

Yeah we gave it a shot and Lomax was a beast absolute Beast.....but gotta admit the Dogs were poor. Like the Tigers of teh past we pretty much that team all others are expected to smash...that brings their mentality down to Parramattas level which leads to a NSW Cup of lesser level of play from both teams .....the dogs did enough thats all they needed too
Lane and Penisinni where absolute rubbish
I am curious why Lomax was first receiver most of the time. He was playing a 5/8 role. Could he be an option to replace Brown?
I think samrami still has too any defensive flaws in his game. Tends to panic and break the defensive line. Gets caught every time. Leaves a gap. Poor Lomax was so frustrated out there. Hawkins was solid and will get better.
Ove all an improvement.
Yes. I agree, that's about the best we could hope for with Moses out. Hopefully, we can string a few wins along the way. It is going to take Ryles a few years to get the squad he wants, but at least we are blooding the young players, and there is a clear pathway to first grade. I would be very surprised if we didn't get the spoon.
