Its a wet Tuesday here. I've been ruminating on something. Our team announced to play Broncos for this Friday. That's the Broncos, who have just come off a bye in Round 20. As it was the Raiders last week coming off a bye in Round 19. As it was the Panthers the week before this, coming off a bye in Round 18. That's 3 teams in a row who have had byes whom the Eels have faced the following week. In fact, the boys win the title this year for playing the most teams who the week before had the bye. Five.
Can anyone enlighten me as to how the draw is worked out? And why a team who just missed the spoon in 2024 by the skin of its teeth should receive this draw 2025. I appreciate I should have posted this in March.

We're an easy target I guess.
Because our Club is weak and submissive and the NRL doesn't give a shit about us because we just bend over and cop it. We copped far worse decisions than the dragons on the weekend and the media is only talking about the dragons

Like someone said - we're an easy target
Next year, I'm hoping Ryles gets stuck into the refs also. We need to create a positive subconscious mindset into these people
We sell papers when doing bad more than most teams, perhaps Wests close second. NRL know that we are very loyal no matter how we are going. 2012 and 2013 still saw Parra jerseys out and about. Never saw a Penrith jersey until 2020 go figure.
