We Win When We Bet Against Ourselves

Guys I think today's win proved that usually when we bet against ourselves, we seem to win. This was very true last year and several of us discussed it as the 'price of the Eels winning'. I'm more than willing to bet $20 each week for the opposition if it means we can win and if not, I make some money. A good result no matter what.

  • Mate i had $100 on the Eels at the start of the week when we weren't favourites at $2.15, i wasn't feeling very good about that bet when we marginally firmed as favourites earlier today.

We can't win against the easy beats but when we aren't supposed to win, we win.
  • That's so true.
  • like i said i lost 30$ but ucant put a price on happiness
  • Its scary isn't it.

Every time i think they can't win they win? Its like the football gods are messing with me, what a sense of humor :)

I don't want to bet against them every week though, the irony of it.

I am supposed to be a Parra supporter but for them to win i need to think the other side has the goods.
    • i also bet against them.
not mch of a fan but had to do it as i felt with what they were serving to us no way they were going to win.
      parra to win next week.
