I'd like to add some optimism to the site. Much as been written and said about our current predicament. I'd like to say a few things to prove that we've had worse than what is happening now. From 1956-1961 we won the wooden spoon every season. Yet our supporters stayed true. My grandfather, who is still alive, began supporting them in 1950 and was at the game on Sunday. He said that this is when the supporters had to stay true. He then pointed out that it was 27 years after he began supporting the team that they made a Grand Final and 31 years before they won the competition. If he can support them without giving up then I'm sure we can. From 1987-1996 we failed to make the finals. My simple appeal is that we turn up and support the team on Friday. They need it more than ever. In fact I'd like to ask (even though it's done more in soccer) if we could organise to sing "You'll Never Walk Alone". If the team sees the supporters showing heart then they'll be motivated to repay that faith.
Can you imagine seeing that in blue and gold? I'll see you at the game.

Yep agree, I think we are all on the same page, we want good things for the club and for the players to have 'half a chance' with someone who is going to facilitate this and help them improve. I am just outraged that this isn't occurring for them due to a ridiculous appointment. I would like this 'wrong' , 'righted'.
I will still support them all the way, albeit in dissapointment and frustration when they lose, because we all know it could be so much better and such a different season.....
I never said you weren't a true supporter if you didn't go to the game. I just said that the players will be more motivated if they see the stadium full of blue and gold.
