We need a coach to start with the basics...
1 how to pass a ball
2 how to tackle
3 how to run lines
4 how to kick the ball properly
5 how to catch the ball properly
6 where to position yourself in attack and defence
we need a technical coach, smart coach, old fashioned hard nosed coach....
For me that’s Brian Smith!!!

Not many old fashioned coaches around Bazza! As much as I like Brian Smith I don’t think he’s the answer as he’s been here and done that and yet still didn’t deliver a Premiership. Sure he left some good legacies and produced some great results but at the end of the day it’s all about Premierships!
Sorry but the push for Smith is interesting. IMO he has had his chance and is a terrific bloke etc but there seems to be a push from a few to go back to BS. No thanks. I would rather see how things pan out with our current coach.
B Smith while astute and smart seems to have issues getting the best from the squad over time; he may be someone who can oversee juniors etc but It would need to be a stipulated brief.

1st year in Brad Arthur was a Bush Coach in every sense of the word.
Improved in his second year which took pressure off him.
During the Front Office fiasco he came into his own and had the team focused and firing. Without the 12 point loss we would have made the 8.
Last year we were solidly in the 8 but failed to go on with it in the finals.
This year we are back to square one by the looks of things.
2 weeks ago Timmy blew hot air up our knickers with his media release - "We have trained hard on discipline and whatever other positive it was"
They trained so hard the entire team ran out of discipline and the other good thing on game day.
2018 we have the team attitude of 2012 and 2013 producing the same results - makes one wonder about what has happened.
We have only recruited THREE (supposed) FG players in the ORF SEEZUN.
