Matterson is a good point. I was happy when we signed him. I think in better circumstances he would have been paid out in full. Head knocks are no joke if true. I think the management have done the best they can with limited ability, but it's now time to usher in a new team and see what they can do. Nothing personal just business.

Bunnies have had about 5 million on the sideline this month. Still a more dangerous side with more integrity and intent than this club has been for years now.
I think we need to be patient until nov1. Players like Howarth and Leniu aren't technically allowed to negotiate until then. I'd be keeping an eye on pasifiki-Tonga too, with the crouchmans resigned, not sure there's a lot of cap space at St George.

I also wouldn't go after him now we have Teancum and Tuivati settled in the team. they are the "big boppers" and I'd rather we go for someone like Williams but more "prop" like Leniu or someone in between like Fotuaika.

That's the problem though if you wait till Nov 1 then the good players are most certainly locked up.We need to leverage a position so when Nov.1 comes around the deals already pretty much done that's more so the key,lay the ground work now.
Much like the Roosters are now with Walker so no other team gets a sniff.
Much like what DA is doing at the Dragons as come Nov 1 he's already done his recruiting and the coach understands what he has for 27.They'll have a decent side next season mean while at Parra we've got a rental and Jaydn Sua and a bunch leaving with nothing or inexperience replacing it.
