Yes, this is a gee up, and it's landed plenty of bites. What club would offer an untested player a multi million dollar deal? And 6 year contract seems a bit random
This will be Junior Paulo all over again, why wasn't this kid already under lock and key???
Development club lol, for whom??? not the Eels thats for sure. If we lose this kid heads must roll, signing bums like Will Smith and Kaysa Prichard while this kid isn't locked up long term.
You really like to find someone to blame for every situation. Brown has only been elevated to the first grade squad for 2019. I think the club would like to hold onto him, but if you really think the club should offer an unproven player a 6 figure sum you’ve got rocks in ya head.

LOL who's saying that you dopey pelican??? But can you tell me why isn't the best halfback prospect the club has seen in over a decade not signed up by now??? Surely they know other clubs are able to sign him from Nov 1??
No club could speak to him before then yet once again we sit on our hands while our best young talent is pilfered. Development club LOL!! But at least we have reserve graders like Will Smith and Kaysa Prichard already signed up.
"Via Parra he has, that's for sure....I'm not sure if other clubs have an issue outside the RC360 level.
This has become a much more personal style of issue for Parra. It come's about purely that he broke his contract and I'm not sure anyone outside…"
"Pops, We are better with Lomax the Lion if his heart were fully on the bus, rather than being a cat on a hot tin roof. If he comes back to NRL, some clubs may take a punt on him and who knows if we would, but he's done some damage to his NRL brand."
"Love the input HOE and very well said. Pops your spot on with a lot of what your suggesting, and Coryn nails it as well.
I was oblivious to Lomax beating to his own drum, oblivious to the suggestion he wasn't a team first guy.
There are points made…"
"I thought he looked frustrated actually. Like he's trying too hard and it's not really coming off for him. I think he wants to be a player who controls the game, but I don't believe his skills are quite there to be that type of player. You certainly…"

If i were him I would go. 6 years is a long term contract. I'm not sure i would be happy if we offered him a 6 year deal for an untested player
How long is Brown signed for??? And if we do lose him it makes Gurr's laughable dribble about us being a development club all the more embarrassing.
I think he is on a one year contract as a delopment player
2019 I think

Bernie simply can't allow it to happen, if we do have $200k left in the cap upgrade him for this year as a sweetener and extend his contract.
He is under lock and key. He is contracted for 2020.
