Former Melbourne Storm CEO Brian Waldron who was responsible for the Storm infamously cheating the cap and having their premierships stripped has confessed, cheating the NRL salary cap is extremely easy.

Speaking to Macqaurie Sports Radio Waldron said the following,

"The truth is it’s incredibly easy."

"History says it’s been done in both the major codes over the same period of time."

"How players receive funds….is open certainly for people to take advantage of."

  • Sounds logical to me, would be so easy to rort its not funny, everybody is doing it but TG is too weak to act and fix up the system.

The system is flawed, its a total joke.

  • If anybody knows anything about cheating it is Waldron.
  • Waldron must be on some serious drugs.

No club cheats the cap and every club is cap compliant. Toddy just told us that a couple of days ago and I for one  don't believe that a man who runs the entire code would lie about anything. There is no way that has or could ever happen. I call bullshitt.

  • That Turd a fool, any team that can add the state fullback, state halfback to a very strong roster is doing something dodgy. And for those knuckle heads here that keep saying the Chooks are just a better run club. Soon that will turn to shit, well run at hiding it. If that makes you a well run club, well I stand corrected. But it's obvious that clubs will do anything to win the Comp, if caught they don't really give a dam, because you look at the Storm, not for one moment do they feel like they were stripped of those comps.
    • Tim you are not seriously suggesting the Roosters isnt a well run club and run a shit load better than us are you lol?

      That will do me......

    • You could say 15 other clubs are run better than us. But no way, they ain't dodgy deals going on, no way. Even past players joke about what has gone on, again no one has spilled the beans yet.
      • Yes and they are so well run they can do it and not have it leak.

These clubs arnt just better because they are rorting the cap like we were doing for decades, they are run by professionals with great networks, our club could only dream of being run like them and having boards like them.

We cheated the cap for decades and still were bottom of the ladder, thats how poorly run we are.

        • Decades?

          Try years.

Weve all known it for years, time for Toddy to grab Nick by the throat and show some testis. It’s been a joke for years, now show it’s not just a stain, it’s blatant cheating.

This game is going to dissolve up its own arse under Toddy.

  • It might be easy to cheat the salary cap any fool can do it. The trick is not getting caught! Politis runs rings around this fool Waldron!!! Politis hasn’t got caught Waldron did!!!
  • Toddy can't hear anything. He has his fingers in his ears and is yelling.
