I’ll be very interested to follow this one . We very nearly pulled the trigger on Vietnam this year but ended up back in Thailand , and then in April next year we are going back to Thailand again for what’s likely to be our last trip for the forseeable future as we are moving onto Vietnam . When booking next years trip I’d made up my mind that we were ditching Thailand , however decided that we’d like to go one more time for Songrakan .
So Vietnam , haven’t reasearched too much other than its in a massive growth stage and gearing up for tourism on a massive scale . People are getting over Thailand for many reasons I’m not going to go into now and hijack the thread , but dad’s just got back from Vietnam and he loved , is it “ Na Trang “ ? He said there was some theme park there with a name that’s slipped my mind , but overall he said Vietnam was really really good .
Oh and apparently they have a time in the afternoon where they all sit outside and drink and sell home brew for about 20c a glass .
Look forward to hearing your trip review .
Enjoy !

that beer that you mentioned is a local brew brewed overnight delivered early morning and usually run out by early afternoon it is sold everywhere.there is a theme park within a resort called vinpearl in da nang or na trang . hey wiz check out the deal going on scoopon travel.nice resort in kata beach phuket . i just bought 12 days pool upgrade
deal only goes for 3 more days i have a year to choose my dates deal for 2 adults+ 2 kids from 8 days for $399
Yeah never been to Khao Lak so wanted to cross it of the list . We are going with friends who’ve been up there a handful of times . Good place to go for Thai New Years without the millions of loony over excited tourists shooting water down my throat . It seems many Aussies are ditching the ever climbing baht and heading to Vietnam . It’s a shame , but our last two trips we’ve noticed the Thai resorts seem to care less about their guests , the vendors are getting salty and not even willing to have a bit of a laugh and the police are getting over enthusiastic on the roads chasing their tea money . I could drop a heap of examples , but I’m sure you’ve noticed the changes over the years yourself .
They’re so focused on impressing the Chinese ( who spend fuck all ) everyone else is taken for granted that we will keep coming . We love Thailand and the genuine Thai people , but unfortunately with the kids now , we are forced to head to the touristy areas which have just become waaaay to focused on fleecing as much coin as possible out of me with little in return . We weren’t the only guests in the hotels who felt like there was now a real surely arrogance to the hotel workers . And they weren’t cheap hotels . Not good when many of the annual repeat tourists are there because they fell in love with the service and hospitality the Thais provided in the resorts .
Im sure we will return when the kids are a bit older and we can go back to the more remote locations away from the spoilt commercialised areas and experience the real TL again .

"Pops/LB, Nothing not much has really changed from Schifcofske's U-Turn, seemingly afraid of the ban or costly litigation.
What's changed? Schifcofske won't negotiate with R360 "anymore" (he did) advising clients they need another agent or lawyer if…"
