I thought I would add this table so everyone could see the total memberships (ticketed and non-ticketed) that have been sold up til 9th March.
It's probably not worthy of a new blog but I couldn't find any that it would be relevant to add to.
Anyway, here it is:

There is a for example obviously a massive difference between selling a $1000+ platinum membership and a $70 non-ticketed membership. From speaking to Ozzy, 80 per cent of our membership numbers are ticketed and I'd be interested to know if thats the same with other clubs as well.
I know for Cronulla, they have more than 3300 as ticketed members, so not so many non-ticketed.
I have also heard of a bit of a scam explaining why St George has soooo many. You need 5 games to be classed as a ticketed membership, so St George has divided their memberships into Wollongong and Kogarah memberships to supposedly help the fans who only want to travel to one location. However, when the fans who want to go to all games buy a membership for each location this is counted as 2 ticketed memberships.Typical St George behaviour!
My main issue with the memberships at Parra are the lack of choices for Family memberships, as they are only available in a couple of areas, whereas they are available everywhere at Cronulla.
You can get a family membership at Parra in the Northern and Southern Terrace (non-alcohol) and the Mick Cronin Stand. So if you want a reserved seat you have to buy the Mick Cronin one at $650.
At the Sharks you can buy the family memberships anywhere, ranging in price from $420 to $850, with the cheapest Reserved seating being $530. Families can choose to buy a membership in the non-alcohol area or not.
I think its good to provide non-alcohol areas for families but I, myself prefer to have a couple of beers while watching the footy, even when I go with my kids.I like to have the choice of where I'm sitting (excluding the non-alcohol areas, of course) and still be able to have a beer.
Maybe Parra just wants to be able to ensure the families are together so they can watch out for them better...
Not sure if you read the story I posted on membership earlier in the year, but they're planning a whole bunch of member benefits around the membership that would make the non-ticketed membership more valuable
Honestly, send Cam Smith, Billy Slater and Greg Inglis up to Sydney to play for a team whose fans actually give a shit!
