LOL Rudolph (haven't receded to Randick yet) how about a NINJA with 10 razor edged ashtrays and a bowl of hot soup!
No time to play pool when Ninja's are about.
I have seen a bloke get a star stuck in his head...it's not as bad as it looks and can leave you in better condition than a pool ball from 10ft
I think you've read my take a little wrong Poppa as the 'poor us' sentiment is not what i'm saying, neither is the ' NRL bashing'.
The thought of V'landy's coming in and forcing a decision from us is wrong from most perspectives across the game and it's fans, and I have zero doubts that if we do win there will be a heavy PR battle we'll have to face.
You are right, the NRL don't own the Storm anymore, but they are 100% one of the game's top prioritise to ensure their success and performance in the battleground state, and every action by the NRL has proved this year's... we all know this.
Given all the demographics Parramatta outrank Melbourne on every level and whilst I appreciate some priorities exist in a one town/ state team I see no reason for NRL to favour Storm. It is not that Melbourne will ever be in a direct threat to AFL dominance. I am not sure what the ratings in Melb are when they play, but the Parramatta demograhic when they play is significantly greater I imagine.
PS When Melbourne broke all the rules and virtually played a season for NO POINTS they got over it, so I don't think the skin is all that "thin".
Hoping Beach and Sarantinos are made of sterner stuff than their forebears. They seem up for it
What they are made of now is irrelevant.....you could say the same about the Supreme Court.
Once the court has their say you can wind up all the "players" (pun) from Parra, Storm and the NRL, even players assn...... but if the decision comes down in our favour (which it will) and we have the sole descretionary take to decide, I would prefer to have the group of players mentioned on our side and not against us. The most obvious one being the NRL ( I would go out of the way to emphasise to them that "we us" and them won).....yes that's the royal "we" us and them!
It is cute that you think that, Bless!
the NRL played dirty pool on us and they are the Really Big Guy in the room....so they need to be hit with a cue...or a ball...or an ashtray...you get my drift
I never have lost your drift ever Randolph, hitting the biggest guy in the room with an ashtray etc is not the smartest move......I would hire a guy that is just as big and make sure the first guy goes home with enough bruises to not go back to that room again. Enter Arthur Moses and the Parra Dream Team and his his first chair Ray Price LOL
I would hire a guy that is just as big...ummm.errr..The call to your mate may be cut short by the ashtray's arrival.
V'handys wants WWE. Lets give him a show. Drag him into the ring and hit him with a fucking chair till he goes tits-up.
Hoe commented on how NRL is at the intersection of BIG monied interests. I disagree. V'landys has made himself that intersection, personally. When traffic is not flowing as it should be what is to be done? Tear the fucking thing up and install a better one. No-one gives a shit about the actual intersection, just that it works properly...(PS. it is not working properly)
Same Randy, just taking action in itself is a win for me. I wish I shared your optimism in the Courts Poppa, but historical bias doesn't have me feeling too confident. We. Will. See.
