Played over 50 first grade games, plenty of speed very talented and can play multiple positions ready to find his potential in the right team and I'd imagine at a bargain price.. Definately more upside then a few of the flops we have now! Do we try and sign him?

If he is willing to be a depth piece right now for the right price and work on his defence then he would be an asset.
He bulked up in the off season just gone so if he continues to build on that and his pace is not lost, I would not say no.
Simonsson was in blistering form prior to his foot injury so it would be hard to leave him out of our backline, be that centre or wing.
I can not see Sloan outing any of our backline at present.

The defensive issues have only just been addressed (still need to work on consistency), and there are plenty of simple errors in our game that still need to be stamped out. Bringing in a guy that can't tackle, can't catch, and makes plenty of errors just sets the team backwards.

Hope not, I know Will has been copping a lot of criticism, and has had some bad moments, but all things considered I think our back 5 have been very good for us.
Sloan is poor defensively and appears to be collision shy as shown by the lack of tough carries from his own end and the number of times he drops the high ball when there are chasers coming through. Bit of a show pony imo and not someone I think teammates would look to with any confidence when the going gets tough.
I reckon we'd be in the bottom 2 teams for stats with our back 5.
Didn't you also state Galvin was signed and delivered?
Along with half the NRL, Heck Gus said he'd never met the bloke I don't see Gussy still copping it!
