For context, last year we didn't drop Dylan Brown until it was mathematically impossible to make the eight. That was round 20 and he signed with the Knights before round 2.

Mataele named a reserve for reserve grade - fallen out of favour ?
Just not that good. He had his chance last year where it was him or Tuivaiti for Round 1, Tuivaiti got it and ran with it. Mataele is an unfortunate 1 game wonder.
Yea he is naturally falling down the pecking order by more talented juniors coming through. He will probably find a super league club next year.
