- Does anyone know when the boys will be heading to Townsville? Surely we need to train in the hot and humid conditions a few times to adjust? My concern is the boys will run of out gas pretty quick if they dont adjust.

I heard they are chartering up there Friday morning. Could be earlier but they will be getting to Townsville not long before kick-off.
Fly out Thursday, spend a night, beat the cows, fly back.
BTW weather prediction 24deg 85/90% humidity. Gonna be tough, energy sapping.
I'm sure the men and Jake will handle the pressure don't know about the anti crowd and heat. Townsville is like an oven bowl
I remember during covid BA mentioning how he loved the same day charter flight. It made it all much less of a chore. Fly in the day of, do the job and fly out again. We won every game we played like that.
Semi against Melbourne we did this and lost
Wiz made a comment in another blog about this and it makes perfect sense to me.
That's a myth these days with modern sports technology , all theyre going to do is sweat all week and reduce their training abilities. Best off preparing here , flying in full of energy and controlling their hydration for 80 mins . These players are so super fit they can play in the heat for 80 minutes . Preparing in it for a week is a different story .
This approach is actually very smart , hiring their own plane is fucking fantastic too.
Forward rotation is going to require a very different version up there. Paulo and rcg will fatigue quicker. We need Brown on the bench no questions asked. Id be putting both brown and Cartwright in. Drop Jake and maka.
I really can't see us carrying Jake for this gane
I can and he will just incase....
It won't be as hot and humid as people are making out. It's been a mild spring so far in qld.
Actual looks like very similar heat and humidity is forecast in Parrmatta at the time they leave in day as compared to nighttime heat and humidity in Townsville.
I am sure there are other factors that influence it but on face value these numbers are comparable.
