  • Thats fine Bert.

The discussion in the last few days was more about putting Hayne to 6 and would we think about signing Coote at FB which would be a nice plan B if we don't get Quade.

I am hoping Quade is coming because he is the answer, i am hearing that its a good chance but time will tell. If he doesn't we are all throwing around ideas on what to do and Coote was one of them.

Now hes gone thats sweet, it was merely a discussion of what if..............
  • wouldnt want him in the eels anyway, we have the best fullback in the world and he is to soft and a girl
  • no, we don't have the best fullback in the world..There are so many area's in his game that need improving, in particular his positional play in defence. Have a look at the Roosters game and see how they caught him out.

Billy Slater is by far the best in the NRL. He has been consistantly brilliant for 4 years.

And yes, yesterdays discussion was about finding a quality fullback inorder to move Hayne to 5/8, it didn't have to be Coote
  • Jarryd Hayne does have a few things he needs to work on, and I'm sure if you asked him that, he too would be able to admit that.
  • Agree fiddy slater does it week in week out.. Whereas hayne does it in patches, and ur right sometimes haynes positional play at fullback is not the best, but in saying all that when hayne is on song he is not the best fullback in the world he is the best player in the world! If he could find that consistancy week in week out he could become the next immortal,(after johns) but it's a big IF.. And he is still young so alot could go wrong!! Between now and the time pulls his boots up!!!
  • i agree slater is the best fullback in the world but hayne has been playing as a fullback and a 5/8, whereas slater just plays as a fullback and does his stuff. He has cooper cronk and cam smith to be the playmaker and slater just feeds off them, hayne has no one to feed off so he is doing the 5/8 work as well.
Have to agree his positional play is very poor, but it would be hard him playing as a fullback then a 5/8. once this positional play is fixed and he gets more involved(not just in patches) then he might give slater a run for his $$.
  • Panthers fullback Lachlan Coote I believe.
  • Mate throwing around ideas seriously how much thought have you put into this comment!!

Mate I have an idea too in consists of some of the best NRL players in the game coming to Parra just cause they want to yeah right it aint going to happen pipe dreams thats what it is!!!

We have started to spend cash on a bunch of Hasbeens in Webb and maitua but your still hoping Cooper is coming hate to break the bad news forget about Cooper he aint coming and he never was thats why the club is in damage control and buying anything and everything!!!

No offence mate but seriously how old are from your comments you sound young and very naive
