Titans vs Dogs

Sorry for yet another Jarryd blog but I just watched this game. I've never seen a player dog it like Hayne does with the Titans. If I was CEO of the Titans I'd give him his $1.2m for next year and make him sit out the season at home. Absolutely pathetic from a once great player. What a disgraceful performance. Not even trying to give the impression of any effort. I honestly can't recall him running in 80 minutes of football. He jogs everywhere, literally jogs, never sprints.Never takes the line on, his passing is casual and without intent and he's shanking kicks too. He's not even trying. Hayne is disgracing himself!!

  • You would've thought that after the week he had in the media, with every man and his dog jumping on the bandwagon to hate on him, he would've at least just tried - literally anything for someone to say he had a go and doesn't deserve the crap we put on him.

But he didn't. Literally didn't care. Parra has changed mate and there's no place for any of that here. I like him and I'd bring him home - but not with that stinking attitude.
    • How could we bring him home based on what he's showing? That's the issue. We can't judge him on what he used to do, we can only judge him on how he plays now.

He's the worst fullback in the nrl. Hands down!! Hopoate has all the pace of a turtle but at least he has a go.

Zillman, Don, Tyrone Roberts, any of these guys would go better at FB. I couldn't find a place for Hayne in that side. He's just not up to it anymore.

    • We're not bringing him back enough said
    • This $1.2m pay cheque next year will be his last. Fans, sponsors have deserted him. French rugby will be shacking their heads as well. Doubt he'll ever get a gig in the media post NRL because he can't string a sentence together. Just fade into the sunset, all the best Hayne.
    • Rugby league loves nothing more then a good redemption story.Haynes books got a few pages to be written yet.
  • Na na. After today there's no way you'd bring him back. Something needs to dramatically change for parra to entertain that.
  • What Hayne does on the field is not as relevant as the problems he causes off the field. No way should Parra entertain Hayne coming back. Hayne would kill the culture
  • BA might be able to get some consistently out of Hayne

With his well documented and proven attitude issues the only coaches I'd trust to get the best out of Hayne week after week is Bellamy & perhaps BA

That said i don't want him back if he'll cost the club Gutho
  • Very dismal really for a once great player of the game. Didn't his father do something similar but obviously not in the same category as his son.
  • Yep Manoa had a heap of talent

    Never fully realised

Could have been one of the greatest centres in the game if he got his head right

"Thats a good side bem. Joash looked more confident and stronger in the trials, and his quick footwork really confused the opposition. If he's on the bench he needs to get onto the park"
