Agree chief being closely aligned to BA I wasn't surprised he departed - we definitely lack that 1 2 punch and making good field postion, we need another dominant middle and big body in the forward pack.

What the forward pack like before that only appeared to be feared because Moses kept kicking us out of trouble or the forward pack that would always get cut to shreds up the middle. Or the pack that put up a powderpuff effort against the riff in the grand final
no Ryles was 100% in getting rid of him and our pack is better for it
our forwards have always been shit , earlier this decade we have fit sivo and fergo who made yards to get us out of our end and Moses kick. After fergo left and sivo became shit /couldn't get crusher penalties anymore it was just Moses kicking us out of trouble
Agree KP with most of what you've posted, what's happened to the younger prop we had ? He must be injured- Ryles letting go Gutho, Matto , Carty and RCG was a hard call that needed to be made. I just wonder what would have been if Matto and RCG stayed ? But thier true colour's came out, didn't buy in like Gutho and ultimately chased more money, more years on thier contracts so its about them not playing or being all in with the club - so for this very reason Ryles had to show them the door, our culture suffered because of self interest and that applies to BA who was the architect. I agree, BA relied on a particular type player to get the team out of trouble instead of coaching the whole squad and getting the best out of them.
No way ? The rest of the season ? My insiders tell me he's only going to miss one game . These mental midget journos have outdone themselves with this one .

"We completed at 90% and higher than warriors and still finished the game with 35 less runs than them. That shows how lopsided the penalty count was (and also how late in the count penalties/set restarts were for warriors compared to us).

"Well said, Mick. And Respect. You along with Chief have been some of the biggest supporters of Ryles through thick and thin on here. I was concerned last year, but Ryles has really impressed and I'm happy for the entire club tbh. They get a lot of…"
"Thanks, Muttman. 100%. Simplifying Hopgood's role sans that playmaking-link role, of Walker's, was a good move by Ryles. I'd be surprised if Ryles reads much of our site though lol."
"I always tally them up like this it is the best way to compare the pens against both teams accurately. and depending on the scenario a pen or a 6 again can have more effect to the opposing team."

I can't say Ryles has got too much wrong in his first year. He's made some ballsy calls but they've been correct.
Was on the fence on his departure from Parramatta, but Ryles's vision was again, spot on, as it was with Gutherson's departure
