Anyone catch the tail end of the presser? Jounro is asking for Jason opinion on the No try - the clown is trying to get Jason to say it was tough call  - Jason doesn't buy into that line of questioning and tells him its a knock on every day of week. Finally a coach that speak his mind and doesn't play the diplomate.

  • Yeah, you could see how much the questions were irritating them both. Ryles let the reporter know the kid himself admitted he touched the ball. It was dumb questioning, it obviously went forward into Iongi

  • Ryles also pointed out warriors had 11 of last 15 aets

    • And Moses mentioned the 12-4 penalty count  (this must include the 6 agains)

      • It was 13-5 including penalties and set restarts.

      • Well I guess you could say the 6 agains are technically a penalty. They're just executed in a different fashion to a penalty as we know it .

      • I always tally them up like this it is the best way to compare the pens against both teams accurately. and depending on the scenario a pen or a 6 again can have more effect to the opposing team.

    • I was glad we showed enough resilience to come out the other end.

Your going to get games like this where you lose just about every single important category to win games but if you can show the above that's a postive step moving foward really positive.

  • Yep saw it and both Ryles and Moses put the Journo in his place. I thought both Ryles and Moses really spoke exceptionally well. Ryles is a cool operator and knows his stuff. So much better than BA

    • Jason has a real passion for coaching, doesn't take any crap from so called " Journalists " BA would have kept his mouth shut to keep the media onside.

  • Yeah watched it and it is refreshing to see and hear.

    Call me a conspiracy theorist...

We got caned again with the penalties and about time someone called it out. The NRL is an agenda driven corporation with a preferred result and the referees are the vehicle they use to control and massage results.

There's a reason why Rugby League unlike any other sport, has so much grey and very little black & white. The NRL want/need the refs to control & have a say in the outcomes, hence the massive greys.
