Big Tim is the ‘Man’ on the mission for Premiership History and now with the Eels New Jersey and white shorts ( that have Premiership) written all over them Big Tim’s dream will come true! Big Tim Captain until 2020
Although everyone notices and remembers the line breaking forwards it is players like Timmy who take first hit up into solid line of defence. By attracting a couple defenders and getting quick play the ball it allows the line breaking forwards do their thing on 2nd and 3rd tackles.
Timmy doesn't always bend the line, get offload or get quick play the ball but does on occasion and is consistent.
A lot of forwards have 1 good week 1 bad week but Timmy puts in every week. I have no doubt BA has some KPIs such as hit ups per game, and metres made that Timmy would be achieving most weeks.
His leadership is another huge bonus and although not the most vocal on field leader, his work off the field with younger players and dealing with media and sponsor commiments is outstanding.
Think you have get over your Timmy hate snake.
As for 12 year olds in bankstown, a group of 20 kids picking on 1 or 2 people at a time while carrying weapons isn't tough in my eyes. Playing over 200 first grade games in toughest footy comp in the world seems pretty tough to me though.
