Well what a year, so much expectation.
Belief we were finally about to kick a goal. But alas, as our departed Queen once stated it's been a true Annus Horriblus.
A lot on here will blame injuries , suspensions, climate change etc .But the facts are damning.
Our first grade men's team , last years Grand finalists will almost certainly miss the finals.
Our mens reserve grade team will miss the finals.
Our junior mens teams with Flegg still being a chance will miss the finals.
Our womens grand final team from last year hasn't won a game.
It's a positive picture going forward isn't it?
Yet there are people in this football club who are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to make this business successful. Have they ? Have they ever been accountable ? The answer, no.
But never ever forget our club is a western suburbs POWERHOUSE. Well I'm here to tell you. We ain't.

Our Flegg are in a great spot to make the finals.
Parramatta hasn't been a powerhouse since the early to mid 80's.
a "Western Sydney Powerhouse" BA HAHAHAHAHAHA that was 37 years ago and now is 37 kms west of Parramatta.....Big changes are required BIG ONES. Brad surely knows it and to goose himself on all media channels to say yeah mate yeah yeah ummm umm "Im proud of the effort" he really needs to get of the drugs or get on them ........
Fairly accurate
Should have won comps in 1999, 2001 and 2005 only to choke and fail (from 96-99 we tried to buy a comp with all the ex bulldog players and STILL FAILED). Fluked an appearance in 2009 and 2022 and got embarrassed in one of the most one sided displays in recent history in 2022. But your blog really frames how dire a state we are in ALL facets of the rugby league operation.
in 2009 whilst we were robbed of a premiership by a team that had zero right to be there , we still choked . Hayne was starstruck. Pants pulled down by GI and he never got his head in the game.
Melb and their star filled team still had no right to be there.
We should have won in 1976 as well. I also think 1998 is a year that was a missed opportunity. The media always say "Brisbane in 1998 were unstoppable", yet we beat them in week two of the finals at their home ground. If we had made the grand final, who knows. Even though the match was at the SFS, it would have been 90% Parramatta in the crowd.
Our Jersey Flegg have a real chance at winning the GF. People are so negative. We have finally sorted out our Juniors pathways. Our reserves are not going to win because it is full of non Parra players. We want players who will bleed Parramatta. Have a look at the results of the Jersey Flegg team as the players have grown this year. Many of these will move to reserves next year and some may even be seen in first grade. The reality is though these players will more likely be ready the year after. The review we need is how to retain these players and how to add a small amount of good outside players to this team. Look at Penrith who shed only 2 or three a year and buy 1 or two and get the rest from their Juniors. We are now close to this. Our most sucessful period was based on this model. Kenny, Sterling and Ella etc with a few experienced heads strategically bought in like Steve Edge.
all i can say is that... the effort is there 😂😂
