Tigers steal a promising halfback from eels.

The tigers have signed Mitchell Moses, the nephew of Benny Elias from Parra's Harold Mathews squad to a 3 year deal. Apparently he is a very promising halfback. Isn't he due to play in Toyota Cup soon and has anyone seen this kid play? Is he any good???? What's happening to our recruitment that were losing them at such a young age?Were really starting to sound like a transit stop for a lot of kids with talent. They grow up learning their trade with the eels and when their god enough they get snapped up by other teams. It six and so do our recruitment team.

i hope we can lock up J Wehbe M Eisenhuth T Jennings J Loko, we have some guns coming through we should be very strong in few years, im not sure i can wait though.

rod reddy is past he day as a recuitment scout for the eels, give it to a younger ex parra player, maybe cayless.
facts are noel cleal did a better job at the eels and manly,
i think we need changes in the coaching staff right now starting from anderson. jennings should be locked away with wehbe, with mosses did hes dad play for souths, and uncle benny for the tigers, its like morts playing for the dogs one day , as hes dad played there. it may happen..

Mate we were probably at long odds to keep him anyway.
This is unusall that a 16 YO kid would be signed from another club, But it is Benny's nephew so it was always going to happen.

"Is he any good????" you havent seen him play how can you argue theres a problem with recruitment. 16 year old kids have plenty of developing to do. he could very well walk away from the game next year.

Still plenty of fantastic young talents in the SG Ball Cup and Harold Matthews Cup running out for the Eels.
It's only a matter of time before we see some of these guys playing NYC, and then first-grade.

It's not stealing when your club just let's them go with ease. And Jason Wehbe is a friend of mine and a parra supporter. I think heel stay unless parra just doesn't make an offer at all ! Heel grow up to be a champion, apparently hes the type to just stay back after training and put in extra work to his game. He's only 17 though, and apparently loco got signed up for 2 yrs

dont cry about it until he ends up being good. he is too young to know how he will end up. we have barba ,murray, humble, morts to work on.

Very true Hugh. Adam1969 is a pretty level headed bloke so I suspect that he's raising this point to question the recruitment and retention process as a whole.

Unfortunately, by highlighting the departure of a kid in the Harold Matthews squad simply allows the 'Great Unwashed' (like Sinbad) to launch into another blind rave about the deficiencies of the club.
