Well fellow bleeders i was hoping that the tigers would get hammered by Penrith yesterday and the opposite happened.

Forget about the top 8, ladder positions, ladder predictor, whos gunna make it, who won't, what is the points cut off for the 8 etc because i have done all of the above like everybody else and nobody has a crystal ball.

What we do know is that WE HAVE TO WIN ALL 3 of our remaining games to have a chance of playing finals footy, SIMPLE AS THAT.

With the Tigers romping the Panthers yesterday does that spell trouble for us this week or is that a blessing in disguise.

I know we will find out on Sunday but i wanted to know what everyone else thought. There are two (2) sides with variations of course;

1. The Tigers will make the 8, will be cocky and not as hungry to win this week, doesn't mean they won't try but aren't desparate for the win.

2. The Tigers will be confident going into this game with nothing to lose and all to gain if they want to cement a top 4 finish.

I would hate to play against option 2 because that reminds me of the Roosters game a few weeks ago and look what happened.

The positives for us are that we have come off a gritty win in Brisbane so we will draw some confidence from that, we NEED to win so the attitude should be there, we are playing at home and WE OWE these PRICKS for beating us in round 3 this year.

It is set for a spectacular game to say the least. It is interesting to note that we ruined their finals campaign last year and no doubt they will be out to ruin ours.

This is the DANGER game of our last 3. Whilst we all know we HAVE to win our last 3, this will be the toughest as if Souths lose this week to Penrith and hopefully they do they won't be hungry next week as they won't have a chance at playing finals footy and the Warriors game is at home and if we are on a 3 game winning streak i am confident we will finish them off.

So everyone what do you think about this weeks game? Forget the score line etc, i just want your honest non 1eyed opinion on how this game will unfold.

I think it will be a flamboyant game and could be try for try or one team gets smacked by the other. The Tigers when hot are pretty unstoppable. Our Defence is the key. If we slow down their dummy half play and play smart i think we can win. To me its all about our focus and IF the boys want to win. When our attitude is on NOBODY can beat us and everyone knows we have the team to cause havoc.

If what Mateo showed us against Broncs Friday night is an indication of more to come i think the Tigers are in trouble and so could be the rest of the comp.

GO BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I watched the first half and the ref handed them the game.
  • i watched the game yesterday, and even though the scoreline was big.The tigers played really shit, sloppy kicks, passes etc..The got away with easy penalties and the try awarded to farah was so not a try! they get away with EVERYTHING
  • add to that the fact that they are extremely lucky. I say, we did it last year, we can do it again ;)
  • If we play them up the middle, then we're a good chance of winning this one. The panthers exposed the tigers up the middle in yesterday's game, but couldn't maintain it due to their ill discipline. The key is quick play the balls from Mitchell and MK, Mateo's offloading and Hayne in support.

They would have a difficult time trying to nullify all that I think.
  • Hayne Plan, I agree, those cats get away with everything and it's been annoying this year, seeing them win games they should have lost.
  • cant wait for this clash, its do or die for parra
  • Panthers are choking......I could see it coming

Tigers will choke too.....they are soft and most people I know don't rate them highly...

Eels are going to be even better than last week....I'm expecting the same team as last week, maybe Tahu to return.....
  • Penrith and Tigers were both woeful in my opinion. I think both are myths and it just underscores how weak this competition is that they're both top four contenders.
