Did Luai say something publicly about Galvin, or did you hear that through an insider HKF?
Maybe there isn't much love lost between the two, and that might explain things a little also?
There's obviously something more than Galvin not re-signing though. Hopefully the Eels (I am sure Ryles would) are doing their due dillegence on Galvin as a personality.

I was told that luai has been telling his family and friends out penrith way that he doesn't rate Galvin. In what context I don't know, it could be as a player or as a person I have no idea. This was at the start of the season.
I don't think Ryles would do anything other than show Galvin the money NOS...desperation to succeed NOW, as demanded by us fans, will overcome his desire to psychologically filter for arsehole-ishness and good culture stays an aspiration for us...but we will pretend we have a Good One...a Bigly one...the Best we've ever seen.
Isaac Moses is cultural poison, the shit he puts in players heads is toxic to teambuilding. How do we drop him? "
Doing personality due diligance on Isaac is easy. Total Cunt....simples.
If Ryles is the "Uncomprimising tough guy straightshooter" some see him as, is he going to tell Isaac that he is a poisonous cunt who can go tug on his nuts? Should he, because culture?
Yeah, fair points Randy, and like you I don't have any idea what the answer is.
In an ideal world, we no longer deal with Isaac now that Mitch is signed until the end of his career.
The issue there is the Eels aren't living in an ideal world.
Without the success of recent premierships, the lure of financial incentives (TPA’s), a rookie coach & a spoon level playing roster that isn’t advocating an environment suited to development, do we have the luxury to make such a stance against an agent who has genuine talent on his books?
Maybe we do, maybe its more important, and whats best in the long run.
Or, maybe signing a roster capable of bringing success, and becoming a more attractive destination for other talented players, will afford us that luxury in the future?
I don’t know, but you are right, that the allure of success in times of desperation, could blind the Eels & JR to potential red flags.
In saying all that, I wouldn’t trust Luai's opinion on anything other than making shit gang signs with his fingers, and Galvin appears to be a switched on kid.
"Parra coming off a two week break and Sharks backing up after a 5 day turnaround... after playing for 90 mins in golden point.
If Parra don't win, might as well collect the wooden spoon now.

Why did it go so pear shaped ???
is he entitled ?? Does he have a bad or Prima Dona attitude 🤔
Yeah it's interesting, very rare for players to turn on another player just because they wont re-sign at the club.
Feels like there is a lot more to it.
Totally
there's something off
either he's grown a massive head or mb walks to the best of his own drum 🤔🤔
I mentioned on here a little while ago that luai doesn't rate Galvin. Does this mean Galvin is a problem or is luai just a dick?.
Well Hk if Luai said this about any team mate no matter to whom I reckon he is the dick. But luai will be able to renegotiate for ++ dollars now ;)
