Three Sydney clubs circle Radley

Depending on Politis' policy on cocaine and drugs in general, Radley could be on the market. Question is, would look at him.

2x premiership winner, edge and middle, Ryles connection, experienced.

    • Pezet would be a mistake Bluey, but he is very possibly and has been for a while in Ryles memory chain of young players he brought through at the Storm. My concern is the same as Michael W's, he is a half not a 5/8.

      • I do see what you mean, I will back Ryles' judgement though.

      • It's interesting that you and others feel Pezet can't play 5/8. I'll take it on board but i'm not convinced. In 2024 He played "Melbournes feeder club in Queensland" 5/8 in theHostplus cup winning a Grandfinal for the East's Tigers in that position. This year he played 4 or 5 games for the Tigers again playing 5/8.

Melbourne have played him at 5/8 in first grade a few times now. The latest was only a few weeks ago he played 5/8 against the Panthers.

        I thought that was noteworthy.

  • And ryles said in the eels 2025 recap there looking to strengthen there middles and second rowers and radley plays both so I would be surprise.

    • I was right behind the JAC move, not so sure about Victor.....he is the enforcer type just the same and we do need that!

      • Yep, we need that prick. We need that player where opposition says "oh not him".

Nathan Brown was a sort of that a few years back. But we need a NAS, JWH type, Though Radley not as big he is tough as nails.

  •  I don't think we're after Radlley.  He can play lock only.  We already have Walker,  Debelin,  Guymer,  Moretti and Hopgood who can play and rotate around that position.

We should be looking at another quality Prop and outside back

100 to one we'll be looking at Radley.

  • Radley was a better player 2 years ago, he has serious issues with getting knocked out on a regular  basis and he's become a player who drops a lot of ball , he also has serious discipline issues .

If the chooks sack him it will be because they don't actually want him anymore .

  • Shame it wasn't Whyte or Toia involved in the scandal, then matching other club offers wouldn't worry me as much, but as good as Radley is he will attract big money from some stupid club, who will ignore his disciplinary issues and HIA.

If ryles can get a 1 year with option type deal I would love him in blue and gold but not at the price other clubs will throw his way.

  • No way should we go after Radley. He is a massive suspension risk and let's face it, is a couple of head knocks away from medical retirement for his concussion issues. That is without even considering the current allegations.  Although I will agree JAC has been great for us after the latter similar issue.
