Some have said the Eels lack size in the pack so it is worth noting that the class of "big bopper" is basically 187cm+ AND 110kg and Tuivati, T Brown and Maetele all count as big boppers.
Learning how to use them is another matter, but a half to a big bopper for a line break on the edge is probably the template? See Walker to Brown for Paps try vs Dogs
I think we stick with the bench we had yesterday, give them time to build their skills in those roles. Maybe Sam could even start? When we are so light on for troops, I think sam and teancum did enough to keep their spots. Tds and walker the other two, our strongest potential bence rotation there.
"Eli, my picks were 1. Jack Williams, Captain Courageous our best player every week and gets very little credit. If he was to go down he'd be missed as much as Dylbags has…"
"Maybe, RJ. But many teams give props specific "missions" in sets. For instance, where it is the second run that is "a play". First run is meant to drag an extra defender in and get a fast play the ball and the next run aims to break the line.

"Bunnies have only won 50% of their games (byes drive them up the ladder). Cowboys are 2-2 post-Dearden. I don't disagree that the Eels' depth is problematic. At the start of the season I was in blogs asking what would happen if we lost some outside…"

I thought maetele was hard done by missing out yesterday, I would play all 3 of those young front rowers and leave De Belin out.

I just want to know why our defence is so bad. Is it because of our roster or is it the system in place and it's a coaching issue?
im pretty sure I read that it's the worst defensive start in our entire history
Poor Coaching and lack of talent
