  • Some have said the Eels lack size in the pack so it is worth noting that the class of "big bopper" is basically 187cm+ AND 110kg and Tuivati, T Brown and Maetele all count as big boppers.

Learning how to use them is another matter, but a half to a big bopper for a line break on the edge is probably the template? See Walker to Brown for Paps try vs Dogs

    • I thought maetele was hard done by missing out yesterday, I would play all 3 of those young front rowers and leave De Belin out.

  • I think we stick with the bench we had yesterday, give them time to build their skills in those roles. Maybe Sam could even start? When we are so light on for troops, I think sam and teancum did enough to keep their spots. Tds and walker the other two, our strongest potential bence rotation there.

  • I just want to know why our defence is so bad. Is it because of our roster or is it the system in place and it's a coaching issue?

im pretty sure I read that it's the worst defensive start in our entire history

"LB, the only thing to add to your points is that Smith constantly pressure the opposition kicker and leads the kick chase. Eels have been way down on kick chase at least and far less pressure on kicker.
That said, I wonder if TDS playing 60 mins is…"

"Blue Eel, what are you talking about, "close to the bottom"? When I look at the ladder, the Eels are like two inches from the top of the ladder at most. Two inches ain't much at all! We are close to the top! It's all perspective. "
