This year reminds me of 1996

In '96, Parra had a completely different playing roster with new players such as Dymock, Smith, Pay, McCracken, Ritson, Raper and Freeman, but only managed 9 wins from 21 games. 1 draw and 11 losses, missing the finals. This year will be the same only winning around 50%, which will miss the finals, but next year could be similar to 1997?

  • I hope 2016 isn't like 1998.

    • Corey Norman = Paul Carige? Lol
  • We'll make the finals for the first time in years.
Then we'll be up 20-0 v the Knights and get run down. The following week we'll be hit hard by injuries, the Bears will make a spectacular return and end our season.
    • I was at the Eels v Knights game. Should of won. Only 17,000 at the game, poor attendance.
  • Actually reminds me of 2009....It feels like we are one click away from being unstoppable....When we are on we are on, we just need to stay on....

We made some great plays but just need to finish...

  • Good call slip, it does. Mind you I partially agree with Hayne (c) as well Re: 2009
  • Look we have been plauing very well this year and beaten some great teams. We have also suffered injuries to our key players which has had a major impact on our play. Im not prepared to write us off. Initially I thought we would finish 10th . I still think we will get in the 8

"Yep Talking Parra had Tuilagi and Pezet at 9.5 and felt that was too high considering both had issues during the game, particularly the first 25 mins."
