Mate we only get a few cracks at spending haynes salary wisely, theres no way you would by an untested union player that imo wouldnt even make our 1st grade team, not to mention players dont sign 1 year deals, especially if you have a cushy gig in japan, sorry mate cant agree with you here.

Agree he's a good player, but i think we are at the point that we need to seriously fill some positions with quality proven players and our short term future relies on it, i dont think we are in a position to be risking our money on any unproven union payer, but Digby has been a quality player in the past, i agree with that.
Your got rocks in the head recommending Union players--Folau excepted,he comes from a league background. If that bloke was any good he would be playing in OZ, not that that is a recommendation. To pay him $700,00 per year is the height of stupidity, mind you though, our administration is likely to do anything to achieve browny points now elections are looming-- as 3P did.
