These days, when you take into consideration not just the spectator view, but also transport, ammenities, food and price, there are probably many contenders. The original Penrith Park (early to mid 70s) was probably the worst ground that I've ever been to. A dust bowl even on the hills.Lidcombe Oval was a close second. Poor elevation for any decent view, which was a distant view anyway due to the cycle track. Parra seemed to lose every match I watched there so that might have coloured my opinion!Nowadays, I would suggest that Leichhardt Oval or Brookvale would be the worst in the NRL.Thoughts?

  • ANZ worst

Aussie stadium and parra the best

i havent been to suncorp but heard its awesome

  • Sixties.  Lidcombe Oval is a standout from my experience.  Apart from the issues you mentioned, I always seemed to get stuck near that bloke with the "foghorn leghorn" voice that kept screaming cooooommmooon weeeeeeeeeessssstssss.

I think my % win rate at Lidcombe would also be the lowest of any ground.

    • Foghorn Leghorn voice - LOL!

  • Have to agree with eel for life, ANZ I think out of all the games I have seen there I have only been witness to 2 wins. On top of that after loss you have to wait 4 hours to get out of the carpark or walk 20 kilometres to get to your car plus the atmosphere at 15000 thousand at ANZ is shite compared to 15000 at Parra (pirtek) stadium
  • I hate how they change the name of stadiums.

What is the proper name of suncorp. Is it the old lang park?

  • If I was talking about local parks, I've watched footy at some ordinary suburban grounds. Spent one season watching Hills Bulls in the old Metro Cup (I was living close to their home ground) and I watched a few away games. Couldn't believe the grounds viewed as suitable for senior football back then. Crestwood used to be pretty ordinary.
  • Leichhardt Oval or Brookvale. Their fans are feral too.

  • My beloved crestwood high school class of 05 son!!! They have recently added a shitty grandstand there, still not a good ground though
  • Leichardt or brookvale for me absolute holes
  • Orana Park

"Cheers LB. I just can't go past him, the only 5/8 on that list to play for Australia and multiple times, back in the 2000's he was one of our best players, i'd say he could even be second to the great Brett Kenny for us."

Ok so going through these rapid fire, particularly this one as this i reckon would be 100% for one player. I did some Halfbacks to make it respectful but not many to choose from.Dylan Brown won the vote at 6.https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HGCBD291.…
