The Unicorns Strike Back

If some of you people can check in your hipocracy after last week, it may be you will be able to see your own biases.

Have a read of what Pro Daz said  about scapegoats. You called it well Daz and it showed up how people change given circumstances and whinging.

I suggested we would possibly  not win another game this year, but it does not stop me from supporting them. Most of our stalwarts were in that position and a week is a long time when you have blue and gold blood.

I would like to say that our middle is much more capable than we have given credit for. We played like a hunting pack and moved up behind Moses kicks in the backline and some of you owe an apology or two to Junior and JDB. Of course MON has been extended for 10 years with options, but everyone now supports that and the ones that said Jason Ryles cannot coach are out in their backyards looking for holes to hide in BUT we all know "they will be back" wagging their tales behind them.....next time!

Moses  literally strangled/suffocated them to death, those Dog forwards must have been sick and tired turning around after Moses kicked them to death.

Look nobody expected us to win that, and I didn't bet on the game, but I would not of backed us with gifted money, styles of play that various teams play makes a big difference to our team.....we currently struggle against any team with pace and dogs showed today they are short in that respect.

Regards to Mallee57 who put shit on us all week as part of his coming on to this site, knocking everything he could about the coach and admin staff......a week in a Rugby League comp is showing up like a week in politics........ back to the Kennell for you  Mallee and a special call out to Sir Col The Mushroom (up in the sky) who was a great character and had some wonderful relationships with the Dog's supporters.

Some one said Parramatta is a boring side, not bloody likely, we are rocks and diamonds but never its ever a boring experience supporting Parramatta.

  • geez  poppy  , you make it  sound as if  us dedicated parramatta fan's  are cursed or something and when things  get heated    we perform  cannibalism on each other  . I mean  rocks and diamonds  ?  my left rock and now my right side  rock has  been  given  many  many  times  to  the frank the tanks  whom by the way accept with gutso .  nevertheless  week in week  out  win or lose  you  still  gotta  support para .such is the  curse

    • Remember that game we used to play as kids Christy, I think they used to call it "jacks" or something like that.....you used to put them on the back of your hand and throw them in the air......where they landed no body cared but the idea was to make up a pair or an odd or even.....fcuk I cant remember any more.....but when you started talking your left one and your right one, my immediate memory is that I have lost both on many occasions.......

I wonder where "Tank is at the moment" He hated my guts but I always thought he spoke honestly and to the point.....judgement's like most people that don't like me was always subjective LOL

Christ (not Christeel) we just have to remember this is social media, if we were not on here following the Eels, what else would we be doing!!.... good to see you are in there punching mate.

  • I really enjoyed that game without the 6 agains and ridiculous pace of other games which suits our team.  If that is the standard going forward we can really improve our ladder position.  I thought it would take to Origin for NRL and refs to reconsider the rule interpretations but changing this early works in our favour.  We still saw fatigue at the end, opening the game up but the game wasn't decided by momentum shifts and 6 agains no one understood.  Collecting on Eels at $4 and different try scorers was a bonus rather than a consolation prize like other games this year.

Before getting to excited though, just like bulldogs were flat after their big win over Penrith I feel we may also have that flatness next week. It is to be expected especially with such an inexperienced team.  Can Ryles keep them focused and ready again without the emotion of the week celebrating the 86 team grand final and the honesty sessions after the flogging from Titans.

Manly have only beaten pretty average sides since Foz took over and they have been up for a weeks.  Losing Turbo seems to affect their mental state as well as missing what he does on the field so which Manly turns up.  If we play like we did against the Dogs we should win.  Manly have done a lot of travelling lately including 2 trips to Qld as well so I will be backing the eels again at over $3 but not confident as Manly attack is much better than the dogs and like the titans game our questionable defence will be tested so was this week a 1 off or the new standard?

    • Only one answer to that FM, we are Parramatta......does anyone know? LOL
