The Team Ricky Rebuilt

By BRAD WALTER1. Ricky Stuart deserves creditParramatta fans might not like to admit it but Ricky Stuart has had a big influence on the rebuilding of the Eels, as well as the Raiders. Stuart was responsible for cleaning out up to 20 players at Parramatta in 2013 before moving to Canberra, where he has kick-started the Green Machine with some astute buying, headed by English imports Josh Hodgson and Elliott Whitehead. He also recruited Corey Norman and Nathan Peats for the Eels but never got to coach the pair, who will be two of the home team's key players at Pirtek Stadium as Parramatta and Canberra both strive for the fourth win of the season.Yea what a SuperCoach!!!

    • What about Hock? Apparently he is still coming.

  • Yeah exactly right he should be getting investigated.
  • I must admit that although i have always considered him an imposter in the past, I'm beginning to think the guy might have something. He did actually do some good at Parra which really wasn't evident until he left. Getting rid of all of the dead wood, signing Norman and Peats have had an unquestionably good impact. Add to that the way the raiders have performed and i realise that as irritating as he is, he really isnt a bad coach! Go figure,
  • Yeah thanks Ricky, how could we ever repay you? Oh hang on, from memory, we paid you 800K for our 2013 wooden spoon.

  • So brad isnt he also partly responsible for the debacle we are going through right now with the cap. Seriously can't believe these guys get actually paid to write this crap
  • Im with  Joseph got the wooden spoon in 2013 and we pay him $800K so thanks ricky

  • He cleaned out the team... check
We had to continue paying them to play for other teams whilst still taking up salary cap... check
We ended up over the salary cap... check
    Ricky stuart leaves... check
We are over the salary cap... check

    Stupid article
    • Actually of the trash he disposed of not many went on to play for other NRL teams and the cap cheating a gone on for 4 seasons he was there for one and he would have nothing to do with players TPA's
  • I think I just spewed a little in my mouth
