I don't like using very surface level stats like Breen has used here to highlight how much a player is "worth". Like Ponga has played 13 games this season, managed 1 try and 9 try assists. Is that a million dollar fullback?
Anyway, I don't think the dropping of Brown is as much about Parra playing well as the return of Moses. He elevates everyone. Hawkins isn't exactly shredding sides with his running game since Moses came back.
Brown isn't worth $14 million. But it also wasn't the dropping of him that resulted in us beating Brisbane.

Everyone fell for the channel 9 media hype machine with brown ... it's the same with Galvin and ton of others .. someone has a good game or the media take a liking to them and bam .. they are made out to be the best thing since wonder bread .
