The Starlight foundation - NRL David Smith - Pathetic.

The Footy Show is running the Starlight Foundation (helping sick kids in hospital) telethon tonight, David Smith appears on the show representing the NRL to donate a measly, piss-poor cheque of $20K. He personally earns more than that per week.

What % is $20k of the new broadcast agreement for example? ($925m = 0.0021%) In regard to both on and off field matters this guy has NFI. Clueless.

$20k.What a total embarrassment from the NRL.

$20 000? Wow! Todd Greenberg makes claims that the game is in the best shape ever this year? An extra $30 000 should be at least donated, Dave Smith, Todd Greenberg and sorry Fatty Vautin but The Footy Show have to go.

I think the NRL might be in trouble through mismanagement, I suggest we have the Parramatta Eels board be called in immediately to go over their books.

To answer politely, a lot more than you did Brett, and the reason I vented my disgust at the NRL's miniscule contribution during "The Footy show telethon night"
