The run home 5th to 9th

If we can beat manly, we are a good chance on making the top 8 as the four team above us don't exactly have easy runs home.Storm. • Storm will finish on 32
    Dogs 32
    Cowboys 30
    Warriors 30
    Eels 30
    We will miss the 8
    On for and against
    We won't beat manly
Unless manly get heaps of injuries
  • Bottom line is that we need either the Storm, Cows, Warriors, or Dogs to lose 2 of their remaining games and we need to win all 3. That's the equation.

  • Put another way, everything has to right for the Eels (win 3 from 3) and about everything wrong for one of those teams (lose 2 from 3 or all three). Our fate is not in our hands.
  • We need Manu Mau, Sio and Tonga back to beat Manly. They rely alot on their edge players and we will struggle with the team we started with against the dogs. In saying that we are playing at home so I'm still confident we can beat Manly.
    • where is Tonga?

He does not appear on the injury list

    • He has a back injury according to the injury list put up this week and due back rd 26.
  • From above all teams should make at least 30 points so we need to win ALL games & will probably make 8 then. Wouldn't think Knights game will be easy though!

  • Its funny how we have gone 28 points to make the eight, all the way up to 32. (the year parra have finally gotten themselves in a chance i might add). But I think i am speaking for most of the nrl fan base, that this years competition has been great i love the closeness of it this is what makes for a great season.

Now lets hope for a strong end to the season so we can finally make the eight and go on to win the 2014 competition.... (my unicorn took over a couple weeks ago).

  • I was listening to the ABC coverage at the end of the Dragons game last night. They were saying that the Dragons are back in the finals race. They are 2 points below us. I don't understand how people can be saying that they are a chance and we no longer are. Their for and against is better than ours but we're 2 points above them on the ladder.
  • Don't think Parra will make it. Beating Manly will be tough and also Newcastle away. We could see 3 straight losses after the disappointing Bulldogs game.
