The hypothetical week off.

In my view we are better playing all games leading into the GF because we need to maintain momentum. A week off is good for injuries etc. but I just feel as though we would turn up in a prelim final rusty. We need all the finals games experience we can get. Thoughts?

  • It really depends

If you have a few injury concerns it can help by giving those players an extra 7 days to get fit.

Overall would have preferred the week off as under the current system it would have put melbourne and the roosters on the other side of the draw until the GF
    • It's OK. We won't meet Melbourne again until the grand final. We can take Easts.
  • I do agree. As a player i never liked having the week off. And parra have always struggled after a bye for as long as i can remember. Possible suspensions are a worry
  • Aside for our performance tonight, one positive I see, is that we don't get the week off.  I personally, don't think it helps with momentum.  Our team still needs to fine tune for finals, a week off in my opinion can be a momentum killer.

    • Yes we need practice , and momentum . Also some little fixes with discipline if we are to play the illuminati !!!
    • Hahaha illuminati that's them! thanks Carlo need a cheer up I'm so dissappointed :(
  • Olny thing i worrie about everytime we put a huge effort in the next week we look down but the finals hipe should push us through
  • As long as we win next week
  • We always pushed on after a week off. We needed that win
    • The fact that we were within 2 against the benchmark against the illuminati should encourage them beyond belief !!!
